so we have patio furniture on it's way... we found this awesome teak warehouse through a friend who suggested we have all our furniture custom made. we went, we looked, we bought... it should be here mid week! our next task will be to find furniture in magazines (pottery barn, crate & barrel, whatever) and send them to this place and they can make it in teak wood for us. the place is called pagoda teak furniture, http://www.pagodateak.com.sg/ and was much easier to find than all the other places.

saturday night we packed up and went to the de jongs casa, otto in tow... it is great to have friends that like our dog as much as we do. otto even got the chance to learn how to use the new doggie door they installed for their dogs. kim made excellent enchiladas and queso which were all devoured along with some margaritas.
at last i will leave you with a tour of some main attractions in singapore... my father keeps asking me about the sands casino (http://www.marinabaysands.com/) that they are building... it should be open in 2010 and cruise lines will also be anchoring near it. it will be free for everyone but singaporeans, who will be charge $100 admittance fee... one way the government gets everyone's money but their citizens.
